Nomad Matting is preferred by serious dredgers and professionals for fine gold recovery in any sluicing or dredging system. Often referred to as Miner’s Moss, this matting traps and holds heavy values (Black Sands, Gold Concentrates) inside woven vinyl fibers. It is recommended to apply a carpet or vinyl matting underneath the miner’s moss, so it does not allow the gold to go through to the metal of the sluice box.
