Pan three times as fast as you would with a conventional gold pan! This pan has three surfaces that perform specialized tasks:

1. The coarse riffled area is used to "rough out" the majority of material.
2. The textured area is used to pan any remaining black sand.
3. The "smooth surface" is used until only the gold remains.
